The phone is easy to recognize: a small handset with a blue lock screen, 3:15 AM, and two missed calls from Mom. It is also the object used to teach stealing before your first match. In a live round, check its pickup prompt rather than dismissing it as tutorial clutter: the two phones below show $110 and $140 at only 0.5 kg each.
The screenshots and observations on this page come from FusionZGamer’s Steal Or Die session. They show the tutorial and two separate match pickups. The wider loot value list compares phones with other items; this page identifies the object, the controls, and the exact locations filmed.
How do you steal the phone in the tutorial?
- Find the phone on the wooden table. The objective reads “STEP 5/6 — Steal the phone.” The missed-call message is on the item itself, so you are looking at loot, not a separate chat window.
- Hold E to collect it. Keep holding through the collection action. The next objective appears after the pickup completes.
- Return to the door you entered through. The tutorial then instructs you to hold E at that door. Getting out completes this practice sequence; it does not demonstrate the timing of a normal match’s exit.

The first theft lesson uses this handset. The objective above it says to hold E; the message on the screen belongs to the phone. Watch the tutorial at 0:16.

Keep holding through collection. This tutorial example displays MYTHIC · $261 · 0.5 kg; it is separate from the two live-match observations below. Watch at 0:20.

Step 6 names the door you came in by, with a Hold E progress bar. Watch the return to the exit at 0:28.

What phone prices and weights are actually visible?
| Filmed pickup | Rarity on the prompt | Displayed value | Displayed weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| Office, on the floor beside desks | Common | $110 | 0.5 kg |
| Supermarket, on top of a safe | Uncommon | $140 | 0.5 kg |
These observations support a practical conclusion: a phone can contribute a useful amount of cash without adding much weight. They do not establish its complete price range or a formula connecting rarity to value. Two different phones in different rounds cannot isolate every factor behind a price.
The official description uses phones and gold bars as the endpoints of its item-value pitch. That does not make every phone cheaper than every other rolled item in a match. Read the actual dollar amount and weight before deciding what fits; the best-loot guide covers that wider choice.
Where was the Office phone found?
The Common phone is on a carpeted floor beside office desks and a rolling chair, inside a glass-partitioned work area. Looking only at desk surfaces would miss it. Its prompt reads COMMON · $110 · 0.5 kg, with “Phone” and “Hold E” below.

Look down beside the workstation: this phone is on the floor, with the full pickup details visible. Watch the Office pickup at 7:34.
This is a place to check while passing through, rather than a guaranteed destination each round. The Office map guide covers the surrounding layout and other filmed loot rooms.
Where was the Supermarket phone found?
The Uncommon phone rests on top of a black safe beside a metal shelf in a pink-and-green back room. The safe still says LOCKED while the phone’s collection bar advances. You can distinguish the exposed phone from whatever might be inside the safe; this pickup does not require demonstrating a safe unlock.

The collection bar has started while the safe remains locked. The phone is outside the container. Watch the Supermarket pickup at 40:54.
At this point, the load meter is already 14/15 kg before the phone is collected. That is the useful decision: check remaining capacity even for a small item. The footage later shows the player struggling to move during the escape, so this phone’s low weight should not be mistaken for a promise that an already heavy haul is safe.
Is the phone worth picking up?
For the two observed prices and weights, it is a reasonable small pickup when it lies on your route and you have space. It does not justify crossing an active chase or revisiting an unsafe room. The tutorial teaches how to collect it; your match still demands that you get the loot out alive.
